Philip Charsley

I have always been drawn to working in a people-focused business that involves serving customers or clients. I was 15 when I started working in restaurants, then hotels and then back to restaurants. I became a trainer for restaurant managers and then moved into restaurant general management. I opened restaurants and bars, and trained managers to open restaurants and bars!

I decided to move to recruitment because I wanted to have more time to spend with my family. I covered Corporate Finance / Investment Banking and led teams focused on Regulatory Compliance & Risk. I wrote a book on Interview Preparation and teach classes regularly to Masters Students at Queen Mary University.

Timing is key and being able to build a business with two friends that I have known for 30 years is exciting and a lot of fun. We each bring experience and personal knowledge that will be invaluable as we target growth, underpinned by a commitment to providing the best service to the clients and candidates we represent.
